POEMS strengthens its European footprint at the Chips Venture Forum and SEMICON Europa
27-11-2025
POEMS took part in the Chips Venture Forum and SEMICON Europa 2025 in Munich, reinforcing its visibility and positioning within the European semiconductor ecosystem.
Throughout the events, the POEMS team gathered up-to-date insights on research and innovation priorities, investment trends, and funding challenges shaping the sector. These inputs will directly inform the consortium’s roadmap and help refine strategic actions for the coming years.
The participation also provided an important opportunity to deepen engagement with companies, research and technology organisations (RTOs), and key Chips Joint Undertaking stakeholders, identifying potential avenues for collaboration across the semiconductor value chain.
Discussions on emerging needs and bottlenecks further contributed to shaping the future development of POEMS’s training offer, service portfolio, and business support activities, ensuring alignment with the real demands of industry.
Two Portuguese companies joined the delegation and held bilateral meetings with investors, raising their visibility and obtaining valuable feedback to guide future fundraising and innovation strategies. By observing peer pitches, they also gained additional insights into investor expectations and competitive positioning at European level.
The combined presence of POEMS and the participating Portuguese companies helped highlight Portugal as an increasingly active contributor to the European semiconductor landscape, reinforcing the country’s commitment to innovation and technological development.
