Advancing Careers and Technology in the Semiconductor Industry

The University of Aveiro held a session with Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) representatives, exploring career opportunities and technological innovations in sectores such as telecommunications, computing, automotive, and consumer electronics.

The event provided a platform to discuss the critical role of analogue circuits in advanced communication systems and the chip design process, from the initial concept to the final layout.

MPS also presented potential career paths in the semiconductor sector, introducing opportunities such as their paid internship programme, which enables students to gain professional experience alongside their academic and research activities.

This session was part of the Semiconductors & Technologies Lecture Series, organised by the Departments of Physics (DFis) and Electronics and Telecommunications (DETI), in partnership with industry leaders and supported by POEMS.
