Science Café at the Parliament

The 22nd edition of the Science Café at the Parliament, organised by Ciência Viva and the Parliamentary Committee on Education and Science, is dedicated to the theme ‘Semiconductors: an invisible world with opportunities in sight’.

The topic of semiconductors is beginning to gain visibility among young people, who may be considering new careers for a better future. The encapsulation and development of chips in innovative, more sustainable materials are some of the areas in which Portugal can assert itself.

The Science Café in Parliament promotes debate between researchers, members of the Assembly of the Republic and entrepreneurs, in collaboration with parliamentary committees and the scientific community.
