Inside the Cleanroom: Processes, Equipment, and Challenges in Microelectronics

Join Vítor Silva this Thursday, 16 April, at 16:00 in Room 4.1.02 of the Department of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics (DETI) at the University of Aveiro. As the Head of R&D at Think Digital and an Invited Professor at the University of Minho, Vítor will offer an inside look at the highly controlled environments essential to semiconductor manufacturing.

The session will explore the complexities of cleanroom environments and the specific challenges they present during the fabrication process. Drawing on his experience as a former researcher at the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL), Vítor will share practical insights from his work in research and innovation. This talk is particularly suited for students, researchers, and academics with an interest in electronics and physics.
